Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about the TelcoSec ecosystem and our telecommunications security projects
The TelcoSec ecosystem is a comprehensive suite of telecommunications security research platforms, tools, and resources designed for security researchers, penetration testers, and telecom security professionals. It includes 8+ active projects covering SS7, 5G, Diameter, SIP, and other telecom protocols.
We currently have 8 active projects in our ecosystem, including the main TelcoSec research platform, Telecom Dashboard API, Telecom CVEs database, SIM Cards Security research, 3GPP Explorer, AI Chat Assistant, SS7 Attacks platform, and Telecom Tools collection.
Most of our research platforms and tools are available for free to the security research community. Some specialized tools and premium features may require registration or partnership agreements. Contact us for specific access requirements.
You can contribute by joining our Discord community, reporting vulnerabilities, suggesting improvements, or collaborating on research. We welcome contributions from security researchers, developers, and telecom security professionals.
Our ecosystem uses modern technologies including Next.js, React, Node.js, Python, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, and various AI/ML frameworks. We prioritize security, scalability, and performance.
Our projects are actively maintained with regular updates. The main TelcoSec platform was last updated on January 6, 2025, and we typically release updates weekly for critical security patches and monthly for feature enhancements.
